These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Klavini Labs Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales under company number 16374865 (formerly trading as BusyBuddy LTD), with registered office at 65 Eton Road, Burton on Trent, DE14 2SP, United Kingdom. They govern your use of Talk Klavini, available at talk.klavini.co.uk (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The short version. We give you a UK mobile number. Our AI assistant LILY answers your calls in English, takes a message, and texts you a summary in your language. On paid plans she can also put the caller through using a live AI interpreter that translates both directions in real time. You pay monthly. You can cancel any time. If you cancel within 14 days you are charged only for the days of service used.
1. The Service
Talk Klavini is an AI telephone assistant for UK residents who would rather not handle English phone calls themselves. When you subscribe, we provision a brand-new UK mobile number for your exclusive use. When someone calls that number, our assistant LILY answers in English, takes the caller’s name and reason for calling, and sends you an SMS summary in your chosen language. On paid plans, if the caller specifically asks, LILY can offer to put you through via an AI interpreter that translates between English and your language in real time, in both directions. We currently support 54 languages on the call itself and on the SMS message summary — you pick yours at sign-up and can change it any time. Calls are not recorded and conversation audio is not stored — see our Privacy Policy for the precise list of what we do and do not keep.
2. Account registration
- Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to open an account.
- Accurate information. You agree to give us truthful, up-to-date personal details (name, email, your personal UK mobile number) and to keep them current. We rely on your mobile number to send you SMS summaries, so if it changes you must update it in your dashboard.
- Password security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
- One account per person. Each account is for an individual customer. You may not share your account with anyone else.
3. Subscription and billing
Talk Klavini is a paid monthly subscription. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- Paid from day one. Your subscription starts the moment your first payment succeeds. There is no free trial.
- 14-day statutory cancellation right. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the date of your first payment to cancel for any reason. Because the Service begins immediately at your request (see the express-consent checkbox at sign-up), a pro-rata deduction is made for the days of service already used. The refund amount is: monthly fee minus (days used ÷ 30 × monthly fee). After 14 days, no refund is given for any payment.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month on the same day of the month as your first payment, until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard (Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — the Service stays available until then. No refund is given for cancellations made after the 14-day statutory window.
- Failed payment. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry over the next few days. During this period your account moves to a “past due” state. If the retries do not succeed, the Service is paused: incoming calls to your Talk Klavini number will no longer be answered until billing is sorted out. Your data is kept and the Service resumes as soon as payment goes through.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can cancel before the new price applies.
4. Plans and usage limits
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI translator minutes — every minute LILY is on a call counts toward this allowance, whether she takes a message and texts you the summary or bridges the call live in both directions:

Prices are final; we are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Annual plans are billed at ten times the monthly price (two months free): Starter £149.90/year, Standard £329.90/year, Max £599.90/year, Professional £1099.90/year. Monthly plans have no minimum commitment.
Usage counters reset on the same day of the month as your first payment. Unused minutes do not carry over.
What happens when you hit a limit. Once you have used up the monthly allowance for the cycle, new incoming calls to your Talk Klavini number are blocked — the caller hears a short message and is invited to call back later. Numbers you have added to your whitelist in the dashboard continue to get through. Counters reset on your next billing date. The per-minute rate shown above applies to any over-allowance usage we choose to enable on your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, and not to allow anyone using your account to use the Service, for any of the following:
- harassing, threatening, defrauding or impersonating any person;
- sending unsolicited marketing calls or SMS (spam);
- anything illegal under UK law, or anything that infringes a third party’s rights;
- activities in regulated industries that require a specific licence we have not granted to you — for example, cold-calling or unsolicited marketing for financial services, consumer credit, insurance, gambling, or any FCA-regulated activity;
- attempting to break, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, our networks, or the systems of any of our sub-processors;
- using the Service to operate a call centre, a reseller business, or any other commercial telephony service for third parties without our prior written agreement.
If we reasonably believe you are breaking these rules we may suspend or terminate your account. In serious cases we may also report the activity to UK authorities (such as the police, the ICO, or Ofcom) where the law allows or requires us to.
6. Your UK phone number
Your Talk Klavini number is provisioned by Klavini Labs Ltd from our telephony provider. While your subscription is active and in good standing:
- The number is reserved for your exclusive use.
- You can give the number out to family, friends, doctors, banks, schools and anyone else you want to be able to reach you in English.
- You can use the number for outbound SMS replies from your dashboard where the plan supports it.
When your subscription ends — whether you cancel, the account is closed, or payment fails and is not resolved within the grace window — the number is returned to the telephony pool and may be reassigned to another customer of our telephony provider in due course. Talk Klavini numbers cannot be ported out to another carrier or to your personal account: they are provisioned to us as the underlying account holder, and porting is not something we offer at this time.
7. AI limitations — please read
LILY is artificial intelligence. There are no human operators at Klavini Labs listening in or taking over the call. The AI is good — best-effort accuracy from the same model family that powers modern voice assistants — but it is not perfect.
- Translation in the live interpreter mode is fluent but not certified. It is not a substitute for a qualified human interpreter in legal, medical, financial or safety-critical situations. For NHS appointments, court hearings, immigration matters, or any decision with significant consequences, please use a human interpreter and treat what LILY tells you as an aid rather than the authoritative record.
- SMS summaries are short paraphrases, not word-for-word transcripts. If something important is at stake (a date, a sum of money, an address, a medication name) please ring the caller back to verify the detail directly.
- The AI can occasionally mis-hear, misunderstand, or invent detail. You are responsible for verifying any critical information before acting on it.
No responsibility for misinterpretation or mistranslation. The accuracy of the AI interpreter and of any SMS summary is best-effort only and is not guaranteed. Interpretation and transcription accuracy can be materially affected by factors outside our control, including call quality and connection stability, background noise or other voices, and each speaker’s accent, dialect, diction, pronunciation, speed of speech, and use of slang, idiom or technical terminology. The Service may mis-hear, omit, mistranslate, or add detail. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klavini Labs Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, misunderstanding, or consequence arising from a misinterpretation or mistranslation by the AI, and you must independently verify any important or critical information before relying or acting on it. This does not affect the statutory rights preserved in §9.
8. Service availability
Not for emergencies. Talk Klavini is not an emergency service and must not be used to contact the emergency services. If you, a caller, or anyone else needs urgent help, call 999 (or 112) directly from an ordinary phone. We do not guarantee that any call will connect or that the Service will be available at any given moment, and we accept no liability for any consequence of the Service being unavailable, delayed, or unable to connect a call in an emergency.
We aim to keep Talk Klavini available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uptime and we do not offer a service-level agreement (SLA) at this stage of the company. The Service can be interrupted by, for example, failures at our telephony provider, our AI providers, our hosting provider, or by an outage on the UK mobile network.
When we plan maintenance that may briefly affect the Service we will tell account holders by email in advance.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under English law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service in any rolling 12-month period is limited to the total amount you paid us for the Service during that 12-month period;
- we are not liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, expected savings, or data;
- we are not liable for any consequence of you relying on the output of the AI in a safety-critical, legal, medical or financial context (see §7); and
- we are not liable for failures caused by the underlying telephony or AI providers, by your own mobile network or device, or by any other event reasonably outside our control.
10. Data processing and privacy
How we handle your personal data — including a precise statement of what we do and do not store about your calls — is set out in our Privacy Policy. Please read it together with these Terms. We do not duplicate that detail here.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, in the Service, or in our pricing or sub-processors. When we make a material change we will tell account holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect counts as your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel at any time as described in §3.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to settle any such dispute or claim. Nothing in this section affects any statutory right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
